Online relationships & youth produced sexual imagery

Date/Time
Date(s) - 13/01/2020
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Our relationships have changed and will continue to do so, but technology is moving forward at a phenomenal rate and must of us are running behind trying to keep up.  We are having a love affair with social media and most of our friends live in our smart phones and through Facebook it has enabled me to stay connected with friends from school and without it we would have lost touch.  Our lives are online and people do love to watch what others are doing whether happy or sad,  Social media does offer the feel-good factor when you get lots of likes or comments. We feel part of a community and feel loved, but how is this impacting our young peole and what should we do to support our school communities.

“Young produced sexual imagery” and “Sexting” – what do these terms mean?  Do all of your staff really understand the laws around this area.

TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT YOU MUST HAVE A SCHOOL EMAIL.

You can only have 5 members of staff per school. A link for the webinar can be shared after the event for a small charge.
