Gooseberry Play (Games)

£2.99

Gooseberry Play is an online educational programme for teaching online safety to children aged 5-13.  It is divided into five age levels with 12 lessons and accompanying slide presentations in each.  It contains dedicated resources for children, teachers and parents in both web-based and app-based formats based on English primary school curriculum requirements.  Each scenario-based lesson is accompanied by a digital workbook and there are Rapid Fire Quizzes at the beginning and end of each age level.

Prices are based on the number of licences required for all children in the relevant age groups in your school.  It is not usually available for only selected pupils or year groups.  The minimum number to be selected using the slider below is the number of pupils in years 3-6 in your school (7-11 years).  You are welcome to increase the number to include other age groups, but we suggest you use a free trial to check that content is suitable for your younger years.  We do not recommend the product for Reception classes.  If you have any particular requirements, please contact us directly.

We only sell to schools and do not sell to members of the public unless we have explicitly agreed to do so. Orders placed by individuals or organisations where we are unable to confirm your status as a recognised educational institution, will not be accepted and any payment made will be refunded.

£2.99 per pupil to include all years 3-6.  Minimum price £299 per school.

Number of Student Licences

An online educational programme comprising five age levels for 5-13 year olds, each containing 12 lessons plans, 12 slide decks, 2 Rapid Fire Quizzes, 10 digital workbooks and 10 short computer games which contain questions to assess children’s learning.  There is a digital leaderboard on which students can compete, either within their school or across the Gooseberry platform.

The content is English language and for less able readers, the quiz, workbook and game questions are available audibly.  Answers are recorded online, providing teachers with automated assessment.  Results are displayed in easy to access graphs and downloadable spreadsheets, providing detailed feedback on both class and individual responses.

There is a web-based teacher app to facilitate use of the digital workbooks.  Each lesson is accompanied by advice for parents, on a free app which accompanies the product.
